Kansas City and Shows23 Sep 2008 11:24 pm

I’ll be on the road, later this week, and have added a Saturday morning show at KC Organics. KC Organics is one of Kansas City’s long-standing organic farmers’ markets. Several farmers from the area bring some of the freshest produce to the market. It’s always a treat to visit.

If you’re in Kansas City, Saturday morning, join me at KC Organics, Minor Park, Red Bridge Road east of Holmes Road. Take I-435 to Holmes Road (Exit 73). Head south, then east (left) on Red Bridge Road. Cross the little red bridge –not the namesake- and look for the market on the right.

Well, my sophomoric –errr sophomore- solo CD has made it into the catalog at indie champion CD Baby, now. This means that, soon, it will show up on iTunes and Amazon.

If you’re waiting for the iTunes arrival, you can still find my first solo CD, Jonathan Ramsey in iTunes. Watch for “At Cruisin’ Route 66″, very soon.

Friends and If You Love My Music... and Irish Music and Kansas City and Other Musicians You Should Check Out12 Sep 2008 10:51 am

Kelly: Dair - Irish Music in Kansas City, MO

If you like my music, you should definitely check out my friends the Kelly Band. Lead by Kelly Dougherty, they drive a very soulful, thoughtful sound. Kelly’s vocals produce a clean, classic sound, when they perform lyric airs, but I’ve heard her rip up the strong upbeat songs as well. I’m also been pleased to see her teamed up with my friends Mike Dugger and Gordon Bearss.

Kelly has a new CD, and will celebrate with a CD release party, Saturday, Sep 13 2008, at Kansas City Irish Museum & Cultural Center, in Kansas City, Missouri. That’s in Union Station, at Pershing and Grand. They’ll perform at 8:00 PM.

Buy Jonathan Ramsey At Cruisin’ Route 66 Add to cart, Dude!

I had my new CD at the Kansas City Irish Fest, and was glad to see many of them find new homes. Thanks to all who came and got “At Cruisin’ Route 66“. It captures a bit of what my live show sounds like. Some songs that are also on my first recording are a bit faster than on the studio recording.

If you’ve not seen these, yet, check out all the Irish Music Goodness on its own page. I’ll have these at the table at my upcoming shows, plus it’s available at CD Baby (or will be in a couple days), or you can buy the MP3 Album.
