I've yet to claim to be reporting on anything found on my site, anymore than you've ever claimed to use proper spelling and grammar. I'm a musician who makes comments on stuff that I find interesting, moving, sad, happy. My point was never to report on Bradley Delp's suicide method, but to say, as a Boston fan since 1976, how sad it was that he is gone. This was in the context of how sad it is that Vonnegut and Roscoe Lee Browne are gone. I also thought it was sad how little most people knew about him, during his life. Most people didn't even know his name. Having mentioned the method incorrectly, and then the part of the house was, apparently, inexcusable. I will, therefore, henceforth, endeavor to check my facts before pushing that "Publish" button. Just in case, though, I relinquish all my press credentials to the rock otaku world. Thanks, Charlie. I don't know how well you knew him, but I can say without hesitation that he was the nicest human being you could ever hope to meet, and he treated everyone with respect and kindness. If you only had 30 seconds to talk with him, within 7 seconds he would focus everything on you, and by the time the end of the conversation neared, you would feel as though you had truly made a new friend. Without question, he really was the nicest guy in rock and roll, and it will most likely be a very long time before someone with his talent comes around again. It is a terrible and very sad loss.
