My daughter had a photo session with Saint Louis photographer, Laura Siebert. She was incredibly nice, and did a great job with Cohen. Krysta and I watched as she led Cohen up and down the streets of the erstwhile garment-, now artist- district of downtown Saint Louis.

Notably, she has an extensive wardrobe for all ages in her loft studio. In fact, one of Cohen’s outfits was all but one piece from Laura’s wardrobe rack. It was so fun to watch Laura and Cohen work together.

If you seek a talented photographer with an incredible rapport with children and families, I highly recommend Laura. If you don’t live in, or near, Saint Louis, Missouri, it’s a quick flight from anywhere, Man!

Okay. This is nice. I received an email from my friend Valerie, of the Missouri Valley Folklife Society. She sent me a link to the Kansas City Star Community Faces Page, and noted that the Star used my performance photo as the cover photo.

I’m a bit amazed. Everyone else there was quite glamorous, professional, the picture of the bold and beautiful. That friday evening, when this photo was taken, I felt like a sweaty mess. Perhaps, sweaty, messy Jonathan is the new face of “the approachable rock star”. I’m, at the very least, certain that my children will ridicule me for using “Jonathan” and “rock star” in the same sentence, even more, the same clause.
